Why have I chosen to work with fatigue?
Any long-term post viral fatigue syndrome drains the life out of you. I know because people I work with have suffered the loss of energy, identity, friends, work and the disbelief of some family members or doctors. ​
The loneliness and pain - physically, mentally, and emotionally - leads to feeling p***** o** with life, even if you are normally a cheerful person. It's like a bereavement. Hopes and opportunities seem to slip past each day because you are not your usual self. You can't keep up or, if you are pushing yourself to look normal, you must rest for hours or days afterwards.
Just thinking is exhausting. You start rationing your actions, your life is regimented to manage your energy requirements so you can do the most important things in your life. Whether that is still working but having no energy for loved ones or friends or, if you are too ill to work, deciding between bathing or cooking.
You are desperate to get well. You have been told to go away and exercise, but it is not helping you. It makes you feel so fatigued it's painful. Everything you do seems to back-fire.
Because I knew of people who were being drained by fatigue, I was drawn to helping them outside my day-job as an accountant. I qualified in EFT, NLP and Qi Gong, as well as researching courses at a cost of thousands of pounds.
Now I want to share my knowledge with you, should you choose. You will learn methods to enhance your energy flow and be the mistress or master of your body, NOT feel overwhelmed by a body that doesn't work the way it used to and doesn't respond to your wishes and desires. Imagine how that would feel.​

My qualifications mean I am able to work with the deepest levels of anxiety, but my approach is to avoid ‘triggering’ people: my first priority is to keep the environment safe and nurturing. Whilst I am deeply empathic, I always looks to the future with optimism, and my sessions are under-pinned by an optimistic view of health and longevity.​

My background
I am a Master Practitioner of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) (2015), a Master Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) (1997) and certified to Level 3 in Spring Forest Qi Gong (2022). I also contributed a chapter on Habit Change to an Amazon International bestseller​.

Movement not exercise
When I work with people who have ongoing fatigue I emphasise movement over exercise. In fact, exercise may be the complete opposite of what you need right now.

In situations of chronic fatigue, the body benefits from being moved rather than exercised, and I introduce amazing ways to move that don’t exhaust you.


As well as Emotional Freedom Techniques, I also like to teach Qi Gong, a meditative movement technique that involves gentle slow movements that enhance energy flows within the body. People can use Qi Gong to calm the mind and move the body without resorting to possibly damaging exercise.​
